Rules, Terms & Disclaimer

By completing a booking with TUYYO CLUB (“we”, “us”, “the owner”) for stand-up paddle board (SUP) equipment, the renter (“you”, “the client”) agrees to the terms set out on this page, in addition to any terms confirmed at the time of hand-over.

• Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day requests should be sent directly via WhatsApp and are accepted subject to availability.
• A valid photo ID (NIE, TIE, national ID or passport) is required from the lead renter at the time of hand-over, matching the details submitted in the booking form.
• The rental period begins at the confirmed start time and equipment must be returned at the agreed end time. Late returns may be charged pro-rata for the extra time used.
• Equipment must only be used by persons within the stated weight and capacity limits of each board.
• Sub-letting, reselling or otherwise transferring the rental to a third party without our consent is not permitted.

• Leash use is mandatory at all times while on the water. The coiled safety leash provided must remain attached to the board and to the paddler’s ankle or calf.
• A life jacket is provided with every rental and its use is strongly recommended, in particular for beginners, children, and anyone paddling more than 200 m from shore, in open water, or with limited swimming ability.
• Do not paddle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Check local flag warnings and lifeguard instructions before entering the water; do not enter the water when a red flag is displayed.
• We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a rental if sea or weather conditions are judged unsafe.

Security Deposit Amount: €150

The Security Deposit shall be paid by the Renter before the rental period as a guarantee for the proper use and safe return of the equipment.

The deposit will be fully refunded provided that:

• the SUP board is returned without damage;
• all accessories are returned in full;
• there are no signs of improper use;
• the equipment is returned at the agreed time.

In case of damage, loss, or missing items, the repair or replacement cost will be deducted from the deposit according to the following list.

Deduction Policy

• If the damage is valued at up to €150, the amount will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance will be refunded.
• If the damage exceeds €150, the deposit will be retained in full, and the Renter agrees to pay the remaining amount.

Equipment Included

SUP board; paddle; leash (mandatory for use); center fin; high-pressure pump; carry backpack; life jacket.

• Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the confirmed start time. Contact us via WhatsApp to cancel or reschedule.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time may not be refundable, except in cases of adverse weather (see below).
• If sea or weather conditions are unsafe at the scheduled time, we will contact you to reschedule the booking free of charge or issue a full refund of the rental price, at your choice.
• No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable.

• By renting equipment from TUYYO CLUB, the client confirms they are physically fit to paddle board, understand the risks involved, and accept them voluntarily.
• TUYYO CLUB, its owners, staff and delivery personnel are not liable for personal injury, death, loss of property, or consequential damages arising from the use of rented equipment, except where such loss or injury is caused directly by our proven negligence or by a defect in the equipment that we knew or should reasonably have known about.
• The client is responsible for assessing their own swimming ability, physical condition, and the suitability of sea conditions before entering the water.
• This disclaimer does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Spanish consumer-protection law.
• Nothing on this page constitutes legal advice; it is a plain-language summary of the terms that govern the rental.

When you submit a booking we collect your name, phone number, and, where an ID document is required for the rental contract, your ID/passport number. If you opt in, we also collect your email address to send a booking confirmation and PDF receipt.

• This data is used solely to manage your booking, issue the rental contract, and contact you about your reservation (including via WhatsApp and Telegram notifications to our staff).
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Booking records, including ID numbers where collected, are retained only as long as necessary for contractual, accounting and legal purposes.
